Weekend Affiliate Offers: The Inside Track

Now I know what you’re thinking, running on a weekend!?

Don’t panic, I’m not expecting you to take a swift jog round the block every Saturday and Sunday (trust me, you won’t find me jogging any day of the week) – I’m talking about running affiliate offers over the weekend.

At Monetise a big part of our role is noticing and analysing data trends as well as listening to the wants and needs of you lovely lot, and one thing that’s started to stand out is that there is a definite demand for more weekend-friendly offers.

But what you may or may not know is that we have numerous offers that allow weekend sends and actively encourage them. Only a small handful of our offers on Monetise run in the working week alone. So, there’s plenty of offers to keep your profits nice and healthy all week round.

Gambling

  • Gambling is a big vertical here at Monetise with offers on a CPA and CPL price model. We have Casino, Bingo, Sports and Lotto in various GEOs.
  • All of our gambling offers allow traffic all through the week, with most popular days being Friday and Saturdays, especially for the CPAs.

Surveys

  • Surveys also have a special place at Monetise and run on a CPL basis with DOI and SOI conversion points available (depending on the offer).
  • Whilst there are monthly, weekly or sometimes even daily budgets on our survey offers, they all accept traffic all week round!

Could market research campaigns make you a buck on weekends with increased web traffic?

Subscription Trials and Discounts

Energy

  • I think I can quite confidently say that no one wants to overpay for their bills, especially at the moment. With more people working from home than ever before, the heating and electricity is probably getting more use than in a normal, pre-pandemic week.
  • Lucky for you and your audience, our energy switching offers allow traffic any day of the week, meaning there’s no limit to when you can start saving.

Energy switch campaigns can be particularly strong when families reassess their finances over the weekend.

Loans

  • Short Term and Payday loans have always had a strong stance on the Monetise platform, especially for our emailers.
  • Our loans operate largely on a variable CPL payout. Lead payouts are determined live on the application by various factors such as credit history, loan amount and length of time for repayment amongst many other variables.
  • Whilst a lot of finance and insurance offers only allow Monday – Friday sends, our vast offering of loan campaigns are available to send 24/7

Bee Loans – Short Term Loans [UK]

Competitions

  • Love them or hate them, competitions and sweeps are a staple of the affiliate marketing industry.
  • Whilst they often have expiration dates, they accept applications to win something or other any day of the week!

Finance/Insurance

  • A lot of campaigns in this vertical do rely on call centres and so have limitations for traffic, some Monday to Wednesday, others Monday to Friday but that’s not necessarily the case for all offers in this vertical.

Examples:

Sunshine Mobile – No Credit Checks

https://sunshinemobile.co.uk

£5.00

Uniform Tax Rebates CPL [UK]

And there you have it, there are several other verticals on the Monetise platform but a lot of our most popular happily accept weekend traffic, meaning you can continue boosting your profits all week round.

Most of the time if an offer has specified sending times these will be listed in the restrictions on the platform or will be detailed to you by your Account Manager upon set up.

If ever unsure of when you can send an offer, just reach out to your dedicated Account Manager who will always be happy to help!

All offers listed as examples were available as of June 2020, offer availability and payouts are subject to change, please speak with your Account Manager about any offer of interest.
