Advertiser Team Welcomes Shannon Evans

Our latest blog comes from Shannon Evans, who has joined the Monetise team as a brand shiny new advertiser manager…

Well, I never thought I’d be starting a new job and training all from home whilst in a government-enforced lockdown, but here we are! I’m Shannon, the newest addition to the Advertiser Team here at Monetise.

In a nutshell, I’m a fashion and gig loving nerd, who’s had nearly every hair colour imaginable and is a little too obsessed with the Marvel and Harry Potter franchises.

Just me in a field of pumpkins. Don’t ask.

After starting my marketing career as an apprentice for a full-service marketing agency, I worked across all different kinds of projects and eventually managed my own clients. I then moved on to in-house marketing roles for two British heritage luxury brands and experienced projects from a whole new perspective. I found Monetise after deciding I wanted to be back in an agency environment and that I wanted to specialise in a specific sector of marketing.

By the end of my first two weeks with Monetise, I had been given my own Advertisers to manage and had done more squats – for the team “Bring Up Sally” challenge – than I had in a lifetime!

When I’m not expanding my marketing knowledge, I can normally be found at a concert, socialising with friends or binging the latest tv shows and films with my family.

The team at Monetise have been incredibly helpful and welcoming, and I can’t wait to meet everyone in person.
