Holly Glasby joins the Affiliate Management Team!

A Windows devotee on a normal day-to-day basis, it was fair to say I didn’t expect one of the main challenges starting my new job at Monetise to be navigating my Apple-unfamiliar brain around the functions of a brand new MacBook Pro. Yet, exiting the office armed with my laptop and a mind full of first day exhilaration and knowledge around all things CAKE, I was eager to spend the evening getting acquainted with my new technological comrade alongside enjoying some much needed unwind time in preparation for another exciting day ahead.

By the end of the whirlwind week, eight of my own affiliates were appointed, a delicious team lunch at nearby Harpur’s was devoured, and my desires to work in an office where colleagues share my mutual love for playing cheesy 80s hits to get them through their day were met. Needless to say, I felt part of the team already.

Now, with less willingness to discuss a slightly more uninteresting element of this segment, let’s talk about me. Rather the outdoorsy type, I love to be in nature and enjoy walks, a lot of them coincidentally featuring the tranquil settings boasted by the close-to-home village of Melbourne, with my family and friends. Yoga and Pilates also come top on my hobby list, alongside getting stuck into a good book. With an interest in fashion, I also love to browse the rails (on an admittedly too frequent basis) and have always wanted to start my own fashion blog. At least I’m getting some writing practice in!

Equipped with a Diploma of Higher Education in Business Management and HR from Nottingham Trent University and experience in working within Marketing for several full-time jobs following this, I joined Monetise with little Affiliate Marketing knowledge. Yet despite never touching on this side of Business through my studies or work, I had a passion, perhaps thanks to my analytical way of thinking, for learning more about how our ever-so evolving high-tech world can alter the way we utilise and consequently navigate the web.

With every credit to the welcoming and incredibly knowledgeable team here at Monetise, I am now on the road to making these ambitions a reality. Here’s to a fun-filled, CAKE (and not just the software variety)-fuelled future, and I couldn’t be happier about it.
